Jing is a great tool that could be used to capture images for visual presentations for lessons.
Skype could be used in the classroom to have students communicate with other classrooms or schools. It could also be used for other professionals around the world to communicate, present lessons or give video presentations to the students.
So, knowing that you will have devices in your classroom this fall, have you thought about classrooms or experts you might want your class to Skype with this coming school year? I'm not sure what you teach, but I can think of so many ways to expand the classroom with Skype.
